Network marketing has always been an industry that people solely used traditional marketing tactics to promote their business. They did all of the cold calling, newspaper advertising, told their friends and family about the business, and attended many seminars that were held by the team leader. I could not even begin to imagine being in the industry during this time without having the ability to leverage the Internet.
I used would not be able to obtain the right level of motivation because it would probably feel like I was working for someone else instead of working for myself due to all of the time that was needed to allocate to the business. With the growing popularity of the Internet, there is starting to be a tremendous shift in the industry that will allow people to grow their network in the comfort of their own home.

Now I know you are probably thinking, traditional marketing is still effective and produces great results. I’m not saying not to do any forms of traditional marketing, but what I am saying is that the majority of your marketing efforts should be allocated to online advertising. I can go into great depth about the benefits of marketing online, but I will save that for another post because I want to focus on why you need to take your business online.
When people come to me with general questions about Internet marketing, I automatically expect them to know certain things because most of the tactics come natural to me. I would say about 1 out of every 20 people that I talk to know the true benefits of Internet marketing. Also, when I remind them that they can do all this from the comfort of their own home, they seem to grasp the concepts a lot faster. I don’t know where I would be today if I had never discovered marketing online. This is my passion and this definitely what I can see myself doing my entire life.
I think having the ability to combine Internet marketing with network marketing is absolutely the perfect marriage. They can create an automatic stream of residual growth if you setup the right system. Succeeding in this industry is all about attraction marketing, edification, having leads, and having a proven lead generation system in place to capture of all of the information of the leads that you send to your website.
