Why Time is Not Money?

by Donny on November 5, 2009

Every time I hear someone say that their time is money, I sit back and think to myself, that money doesn’t have any monetary value, so how can someone put a time valuation on money. Many people don’t realize how important time really is. Michael Jackson only had 50 years to live his life and make a huge influence by inspiring people through the music he produced. Even though he was one of the most powerful figures in the world and had all the money that he could ever imagine, you still have your life and that is something that you cannot take back. People have to start realizing this and stop thinking about how money is everything because it is not.

Time vs. Money

Time vs. Money

Even though we need money to survive, I would start to place a high value on the amount of time that you put on certain things. It is proven throughout the history of human existence that we spend most of our time competing with each other instead of helping each other succeed. If we began to change this type of mindset, we would then know the true value of time because we would see success a lot faster because we would be working together in unison.

So I would begin to help as many people out as possible, so that you can value your time a lot better instead of always thinking about money.
