It just occurred to me that I have been living by this saying my whole life that knowledge is power. Most people are taught this same defining principal from birth all the way up to adulthood. If you continue to live your life based upon this principal, your success will be very limited.

I was recently at this wealth empowerment seminar at New Birth Church in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the largest churches in the country, and I continued to listen as the speaker spoke, how our minds are taught to think a certain way and do a certain thing. Many people seem to struggle about the fact that we were born with the mentality to keep going instead of standing still. What I mean by this, simply that by working the same job for 20 years, we will not satisfy our desires or ever achieve our purpose because we were not born on the principal of doing the same thing our entire life, but to consistently change to achieve our desired purpose or goal.
So if knowledge is not power, than what is it?
Applied knowledge is power. To know something is great, but if you don’t take action on that desired knowledge than it is useless to you. Most people know a lot about a particular thing, but fail to use it to their advantage and simply waste the amount of knowledge that they have. That is why it is very important for you to quickly identify what you are good at or what you know very well and apply it either to a dream that you want to fulfill or by helping other people accomplish their dreams. By simply doing one of these two things, you will begin to understand your true purpose and start to see signs of success in your life.
You can literally be the smartest person in the world and be broke just because you didn’t apply that knowledge to something. So remember, knowledge is not power, but applied knowledge is!
