It was noted recently, that Kobe Bryant did extensive training over the summer with Hakeem Olajuwon to help him work on his posts moves. Kobe is regarded by most to be the single best player in the NBA that is currently playing. Watch the video below to take a look in on an interview about his training.
As you can clearly see, even the best and top leaders need mentors. It was said in an exclusive interview, that Bill Gates has several mentors that he turns to regarding some of the major decisions that he has. I strongly agree that everyone needs at least one mentor that will help them stay focused and motivated in what they are trying to accomplish.
Finding a mentor that you can relate to is probably one of the most important things that you need when trying to start a business or any other important decision that you decide to make in your life.
You have to realize that a mentor is there to act as an influential resource that you can go to whenever you need to ask that important question or any additional advice that you might need.

Everybody needs some sort of mentor or somebody to bounce (parden the basketball pun) their ideas off. Even the biggest stars will doubt their ability or passion the odd time so having a sounding board there is very important.
