Whenever I hear people say that they are looking for a job, a picture always comes to my mind about how I used to sit at a desk all day and take phone calls. It was absolutely miserable.
Even though I had a job all throughout high school and college, I was always stuck in the mindset of being an entrepreneur. Still to this day, I am glad that I am because this job market is nothing to play with especially with the amount of layoffs that are happening on a daily basis. So I have decided to write a post on the true definition of a job.
You Are Just Over Broke
Just- Do to the rise of inflation and taxes, the government allows you to make just enough money to survive. They want to hypnotize your mind to make you think that you are making a lot more than you are by saying you get paid a yearly salary, but you have to realize that you only end up making about 80% of this actual salary after taxes.
If you do have to have a job due to financial reasons, I would recommend that you have a backup source of income just in case because this economy has no type of job security.
Over- Every month you can only spend a certain amount of money because you generally make the same amount of money month in and month out unless you are on commission.
And if you do end up spending more money, you might have to live frugally for a couple of months just to make up the difference. Not the way that you want to live if you don’t have to.
Broke- Everyone knows that being broke is not a very good feeling. Not knowing where the money is going to come from to help you pay your bills or knowing not knowing how you are going to put food on the table. The only good thing that comes out of being broke is the fact that there are is only one way to go and that is up.
So is this the life that you want to live? Or are you satisfied with working your 9 to 5 job and just getting by? The decision is yours and nobody should hold you back on making this decision.
Whatever you do choose to do, make sure that it is something that you love and are passionate about or you will be stressed out and miserable.

Quite an interesting breakdown, with one exception…not everyone does make enough to actually live on.

So simple and yet so powerful. It’s amazing how MANY people complain about their situation but won’t do anything to make a change for the better. I think this is usually because they don’t understand what it really takes.
People are sold a bad bill of good that so easy, hardly any work… but working for yourself is work and does take time. Tell people the truth and they will respect you for it.
Keep leading by example my friend.
