I enjoyed your article on guest blogging. As a newbie in internet marketing, I just read that we should guest blog on those sites that allow a link back to our websites/blogs. Would you agree with that person's opinion?
Sybil Goldberg
www.spectra-az.com

Donny... as usual, LOTS of QUALITY info on your blog.

This is definitely something I want to invest some time doing because I can see the immediate benefits that can be derived from any association of this kind.

Chris

Hey Donny,

I felt like I just hit a "gold mine" of information by reading just a few of these posts on your site. Not only do I feel much better informed about what I may or may not having been doing correctly, but I have found a new "source" to tap in to for reliable information.

As a newbie, all the various tasks that need to be undertaken to even have a remote possibility of improving my page ranking had been somewhat of a mystery to me while I've stumbled through the maze of information that I've encountered .

You've clearly and succinctly communicated some of what I now understand to be "must dos" as well as the more subtle nuances of blogging... tips that I hadn't even thought of!

Thanks alot Donny... I'm a new subscriber to your blog NOW!

All the Best,
Chris

Hi Donny!

I just learned about guest posting from the webinar last night.

I'm definitely making plans to do just that really soon. I have some bloggers in mind and excited to make the approach.

Thanks for sharing this, Donny!

~Jaclyn
http://jaclyncastro.com

...

Yeah there is no doubt that guest posting is one of the smartest ways of getting new visitors and long term readers to your blog. One bit of advice I would give you would be to write your very best content for other blogs when you guest post rather than saving it all up for yourself. IF you are going to be having your work seen by lots of other readers who might pop over to your site then you really want it to be your best stuff and not just something quick you send over to them.

Hi Donny,

This is a great point, one that I hadn't really considered before reading your post. It takes the whole concept on content syndication to an entirely new level and is a great tip.

Don't you just love working in an industry that encourages and rewards a spirit of cooperation? It's such a fresh and uplifting approach to those of us who have had experience in Corporate America.

Your blog is awesome. I'm looking forward to spending more time reading your content. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

All true my friend, and something I'm really going to step up on in the new year.

Seeing as most people don't engage in it because they fear they are giving up premium content, the flip side should be that all guest posters should point their regular readers TO the guest post...this is good for both sides.

Hi Donny,

Instant credibility is one of the primary benefits of guest posting, especially when your content makes it on a high traffic blog. Combine that with visibility and you have a powerful combination which will help you form new relationships while simultaneously building your list.

Perhaps you can share your strategy of how you approach other bloggers to get your content syndicated on their blogs? That would make for a great follow up post to this one.
