Currently, most people are not using video syndication to their advantage as a means of marketing when promoting their websites. I believe the people who take advantage of this tactic, will tremendously reap the benefits of extra-targeted traffic to their websites.
What is Video Syndication?
Video syndication is a lot like article marketing. Instead of writing articles and submitting them to article directories, you are creating videos and submitting them to video sharing sites.
If you participated in any type of article marketing in 2004-05, you seen how effective of a tactic it was and how much traffic you received from it. These are the types of the results that you will see from video syndication, but on a much larger scale. I believe going forward, video marketing will create new video millionaires almost on a daily basis due to the effectiveness of the response rates that watching videos now has over reading articles.
I have compiled a nice list of video sharing sites included with page rank for you guys to get started on your video marketing journey. Those who jump on this idea immediately will be the ones that will benefit the most from all the extra traffic and back links that you will receive from these video sharing sites.

Hey Donny,
Great Article, I experimented with Video Marketing myself last year and found that the main benefit I had was from keyword relevancy. Traffic geyser was certainly a invaluable tool to do this and I reccommend that anyone who wants to learn about video marketing from the best try out Geyser. Not all of these sites will allow you to place a backlink in the video description field – anyone know which ones do?
Great List! But the most of these pages have the link (rel=”nofollow” ) thats why these links doesn't count on google, yahoo etc. Please make a list where every service is dofollow
Slight issue here that 90% of the sites mentioned have “no follow.” This means that these backlinks are as good as useless for most of these sites when it comes to video search engine optimisation and PR gain for your corporate video production.

I would have to disagree because dofollow is only used by Google and no other search engines. Also, if you build backlinks to the actual video url, it could add a tremendous amount of SEO value because your videos have the ability to receive pageranks, so that will add value to your backlink profile.

Yes video marketing can be affective but only with proper keyword research.
Donny, quick question – if you leave your main website url in the video description and it isn’t clickable, that means it wont count as a backlink. That right? As, there are a few of those sites which make the links non-clickable (e.g. http://www.blinkx.com)
Thanks for sharing, video sydication is big deal HUGE even. Google search one of my key phrases; “make 3800 a week” #1 on google due to video sydication. Check out my site, I’m trying to do my part.
Awesome list tyvm for the research. Since google provides such a high amount of over all internet searches, it seems fairly important to make sure you are posting videos to do follow sites. Is there a resource or list anywhere that shows which sites are dofollow and which ones arent?
