Hey Donny, interesting post. I've got many lists, one of my lists is about 14,000 people. Out of those 14,000 people, only 2,000 open their mails on a regular basis. That means that 12,000 people don't look at my messages. Crazy eh?

That is why it's also so important to use Facebook, build up the relationship even more than before. People trust Facebook, they don't trust email anymore and most don't care. If you can pre-build up that relationship with people first, they are much mroe likely to buy your stuff or open your messages.

Even then, I believe that email marketing is dying very fast. People are using social networks to get their info.

Of course, if you've got a list of customers, then that's a different story as they will continue to buy from you again, but prospects... we'll they don't open their messages very often.

Thanks Donny,
Gavin

I know you are right and I think it could maybe be a lot simpler that we sometimes make
it out to be when adding new elements to our pages. I may have been putting too much
thought into it, too. We can change the headline around and just give away our weekly
tips pertaining to our niche or business - right? Work up a quality newsletter?

If someone finds you interesting they will join in! As we grow the value we have to share
grows too and we can make that adjustment happen...

Thanks so much for all you do
Robin

Donny - This is great advice. It is hard though trying to come up with that "attention grabbing" element that will convert to a list.
